Cete ASC v2 Show Mode Issue

Finally got around to installing the module, a little harder than I thought; that damn CAN bus!!
Anyway, I can't get it to go into Show Mode, what's the secret?

FWIW, it doesn't have the firmware update. I've contacted CETE regarding it.

I would need to recheck but normally it is just as simple as selecting show mode button.
But i remember i also tought, hmm this doesnt look 'super low'. My car was at -25mm i think at that time. Forgot but show mode is actually not that low (without the full vent plug). But maybe it indeed needs the firmware update (been already 2 from what rs7 told...sorry always forget your nickname ;) )

On the app, if you click top right (the gear wheel) when NOT in Show Mode, you can then select ShowMode and adjust what height you want show mode to be (mine is at -40 all four corners)

If you now come out of that, and select "Activate Shoŵ Mode" you should drop accordingly. I don't have the full vent option, and lm not convinced you really need it.

I notice your signature says lowered using VCDS. Did you return to stock before fitting the ASC module?

I bought the vent option. If you did that too, then you have to set the show Mode to "0" for front and back for it to vent completely. It takes a bit of time but on your app you will receive a notice when venting.

Not to thread jack but my module should show up soon and I'm lowered using VCDS and don't plan on returning to stock prior to install. Any downside?

Afaik no real downsides or a must, but keep in mind some of us found (and ferdi confirmed) the max. lowering you can safely go (without randomly causing "suspension too low") is around -20mm.
So keep your originally vcds lowered value in account.
Plus side is, you can now offcourse set each mode to your wish (comfort-auto-dynamic).

As far as lm aware, the ASC module assumes your suspension is standard when it's installed, and uses that as it's reference point.

So when you select (for example) -20mm, it's -20mm from the reference point.

If you have already lowered using Vagcom to say -10, then selecting -20mm on ASC will take you to -30mm, which will likely cause problems.

ASC replaces Vagcom the suspension adjustment, it doesn't really supplement it....

Ferdi has been very responsive to emails, it would be worth getting a clear statement on this

I set Dynamic to -12mm and Show Mode to several settings lower, i.e. -25, -30, but when activating Show Mode, nothing happens.

I am lowered on links, VCDS and the new module. No issues at all. Just have higher settings for comfort and dynamic than most people that I have talked to. With the new venting option though, I don't think it gives me any advantage in terms of how low I can actually drop the car.

It is not required to install. In fact due to the size of my tires (285's) I don't think it was necessary for me to have it because at full vent mine just sits on the tires and won't tuck the rims. You can tell it would totally slam the car if I had room in the wells.

Another note on the venting module, it isn't exactly the easiest thing to install. You have to remove the back seats and having the comfort seats that was a bitch. Being as blind as I am, I had to get my electricians to do the wiring part lol.

As the additional venting is an optional extra, I don't believe its compulsory to fit if purchased as the module is not "programmed" to expect it in advance of installation.

Show mode is definitely working ok for me, and is set to -40 on the four corners.

Ferdi updated the module and all is well!
Here is -35mm Show Mode...can go lower, but with the tires and wheels, it'll be close!!
