I looked into it but there aren't many videos so I went with the Switchpath.

Not bad for the price. Buy it and give us some feedback. :)

I have the CTS catback with Bull-X catted downpipe. Overall I like it, for the price I can't complain.

The construction is definitely good quality, T-304, 3" piping to quad 2.5" after muffler. Installation took about an hour, including removing the OEM catback. Most of that time was spent adjusting the piping and tips aft of the muffler.

The tips however were ugly IMO. They were way too long, and I couldn't get them to adjust in any farther. When the exhaust was hot, they would stick out like 2". They are 3.5" in Diam. I was going to trim the pipes back about 1.5" to shorten them a bit, but I decided to go with the ECS 4" tips instead. I wanted 4" to begin with, and they are about 1.5 inches shorter than the CTS tips. This way I have the option to sell the catback later with OEM or both tips, and the next owner can decide.

It looks great with the ECS tips, and they didn't change the exhaust note at all. This did raise the total I have in the catback to about $1125 though. Still not bad considering the other options start at around $1300 and up.

Sound: It sounds great at WOT and aggressive driving. DSG farts are pretty aggressive, and it has a fairly smooth and mellow tone-not very raspy. It does get a little bassy and create some drone at around 2.2k rpm, but that did get somewhat better after it broke in. As expected, I didn't notice any seat of the pants increase in power. There was also no noticeable loss of low end.

I will try to get some pics up here soon. Unfortunately I've been super busy and the car needs a good detail before I will point any cameras at it.

Curious if anyone knows where the spacers get installed on the CTS catback? It came with 4 of them.
