    Can I fit 19" wheels with 255 tires on a b6 s4?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So like the title says, I'm looking at a purchasing a set of Hartmann wheels that are 19" and want to mount Michelin Super Sport Tires that are 255's on my 2005 Audi S4 avant on stock suspension. Will it fit?

    Appreciate it,

    Domz

    They will fit.
    They will rub.
    The ride would be horrible.

Obviously your car, so I'm sure you'll fit them regardless of what myself, or anyone else says to the contrary.

    245 35s will have minimal/no rub.

255s will be way too big/constant rub.

If you plan to lower 255/245s will rub.

How are you guys giving this advice without more information? Width and offset will have a huge factor on fitment, without those numbers its tough to say.

I run 245/40/18's on stock wheels and could easily fit a 255 with no rubbing on stock suspension.

They will fit, I'm running 19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rear. Stock I also upgrade front suspension to stiffer to support width and grip of road and tires

I dont know if the rear hub of a B6S4 is the same as a B6A4 3.0. But my 3.0 with front sport springs and 4x4 in the rear fitted with 255/35/19 8.5" wide wheels with a ET38 clears all around. The front fender liner screw rubs on large bumps though.

It all depends on suspension setup.

Stock, you can pretty much fit anything under there. I'm on stock suspension and run 365/30 Nankang tires(which are very narrow tires) on 19x8.5 offset:35 wheels. Michelins are wide tires, my 265's are probably as wide as your 255's, you'll be fine with stock suspension though.

I added 19x8.5 et32 with PSS 255 recently. I rub on big bounces on the driver side rear. Very rarely on the passenger side rear. Nothing ever up front.

I think the driver side rear rubs occasionally because the fender is bent inwards slightly where it meets the bumper cover. I think some fender rolling may take care of it but right now I'm not worried about it.

And I run on stock suspension.
