before i get into the thread i would like to thank a couple of people, Mr. Frank Hamza (engine teacher at Pennco tech), LOT4R (my boys for helping out), AudiA4_2.0t, Raul (street works tuning custom y pipe) Willson (all around performance) Blitz2190, bische, Corrado Rob (bully customs - powder coating), my wife for supporting me on this two year build, Jeremy castop for rush tig welding everything in a rush and the s4 lol, and last but definitely not least johnny blaycey!

now on to buisness

car- 03 A4 cabriolet

apb 2.7t stock bore and pistons
2.8l cams, bank2 coolant pipe, exhaust manifolds Vbanded flanges (streetworks tuning)
custom exhaust manifold (streetworks tuning)
OEM gaskets (every damn gasket and seal on the entire engine)
SRM forged H Beam rods
034 calico coated main and rod bearings
034 ARP un-even main studs ( pan clearanced)
034 fuel rail, Fpr housing, and fp gauge
034 SAI block off plates
034 2.0t adapter plates
034 an10 22mm drian fittings
034 sandwich plate adapter
034 fuel pump bracket
Pure stern motor mounts and trans mount
Bosch 040 fuel pump w/ ss check valve on top

then i took it to work and completely tore it apart with the intentions of putting a 3.0 crank in it, but scrapped the idea

i met a guy out in P.A that had a dope b5 and found out he did powder coating. from there we became good friends and we went to work on powder coating everyting thx bully customs!

i snached up a jumper harness from clint awhile back and sold it when i got rid of the car! i kicked myself for selling that harness cause the wiring was a pita since the car started off originally a fwd cvt! but i grabbed a 5 spd swap for the car and began the quattro swap.

my boy jeremy sold me an 05 s4 in which i parted out with two of my boys so we ended up ripping out the 5 spd rear and tank and switched to the s4 rear and tank. we put in the s4 0A3 a week later along with the drivshaft and exhaust. i also took all the brakes and rotors along with the spindles. basically everything that was under the s4 now resides under the cabby!

i fitted the trunk (boot) and started sanding and priming the bumpers for a respray

i got some wood from the depot and did the trunk. im still working out the sub box as of now

my crew was getting ready for sowo in G.A. so i decided it was time to drop the engine in! my boy corrado rob let me bully the shop for two weeks and we got it done after i torqued down the engine and put on the clutch. i added a couple of shots in of me doing the wire tuck and raul doing the custom y pipe.

i had been watching a set of brabus monoblock v wheels that my cousin had at his house for about 8 years. so i finally bought them from him and had rob bully those things back to life. i think they give the car that timeless look! thx govi

very nice congrats on the swap. everything looks great. One quick note on the turbo up pipe, your going to want to put a short flex pipe in to keep the pipe/manifolds from cracking from heat expansion. other than that that engine looks great.
