VCDS with the Surface Pro 4

Has anyone successfully used the Surface Pro with the VCDS? I can't see why it wouldn't work as it is a full Windows 10 PC operating system.

I am using vcds on my surface pro 3. No problem at all

One last question...Do you guys have it mounted in the car or just use it for logging when needed?

Matt, I use the SP3 with W10 professional also. I just log with it, I don't have it mounted. I also use DashCommand on my iPad, but I'm just now figuring out all it can do.

I've got the ProClip mount in my S4 right now with the iPhone Plus dock. If I am going to have it wired in for logging, I might as well use the Surface Pro for everything I do in the vehicle but a Surface Pro mounted looks a bit silly because it's so big. Anyway, just seeing what you guys were doing. Thanks for the info.

I use it only when logging and flashing my car (I'm EPL tuned).
I have p3 gauge to monitor a few things I usually care.
