I am the second owner of the car and I'm still friends with the original owner of the car to this day (Digit@lex here and on AW). Knew about the car while he owned it and made it easy for me to buy it with 198K on it because of the history. In addition, I am a former VW and Audi Certified Technician now currently working for Land Rover. Other than exhaust welding, I've done everything myself to this car during my ownership.

THINGS THAT WILL NEED ATTENTION:
It has 262K miles on it and climbing everyday as it remains my daily driver until it is sold. With that said, it has the following areas that will need attention:
- ABS and Brake lights flash upon starting. After driving the car for a brief period, it can be shut off and restarted to shut the lights off. This is usually indicative of an ABS module going bad, and I will include a spare module that can be sent to a rebuilder to swap in.
- The rear door trim panels have the leatherette peeling off. The headliner is also sagging in the back. (Florida....)
- The clearcoat is peeling off on the hood, roof, and the tops of the fenders, doors and trunklid. There is also a small amount of rust on the top of the rear wheel arches. (Florida for the paint, NJ for the rust - blame should get located accurately)
- The S4 bumper was damaged pulling out of a driveway. It is repairable. Pillar in between center grille and driver's side grille.
- It will need front brake pads soon. I can possibly replace them before delivery of the vehicle.
- There is a short somewhere in the dome light circuit. The dome lights do not function. I have not had time to trace it, the best time would be when the headliner gets fixed.
OTHER NOTES:
The car is equipped with a CompuStar alarm and remote start system. I disabled it when I bought the car and I HAVE NEVER USED IT. I don't believe in remote starting. I get in and drive. Just personal preference. I have 1 remote for the system.
The car will be sold with 17x8 Gunmetal Flik Lex wheels with 205/50/17 General Altimax Arctic winter tires installed. I am keeping the Rotiform Nue wheels and Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires pictured on the car. If you want the Rotiforms and Continentals, that may be negotiable.
Test drives will only be allowed if you can prove to me that you can drive a stick shift vehicle. I hate to include this, but when I was selling my former GTI VR6, a guy drove it and smoked my clutch, and then didn't buy it. If you show up in a stick shift car, you're good. Pictures/video of you driving a manual will also suffice. Show up in an automatic and without proof and I'll drive you in the car for the test drive. Sorry, but those are the conditions. I own it until it is sold.
It has been driven by me and the previous owner around various road courses in the North East. One of the many reasons that we're friends. It always got the oil changed before and after the event. There's a reason it has 262K miles on it - it is fun to drive and we put in the maintenance on it.
All of the modifications I installed are listed in the maintenance notes. All other modifications were present and were performed/had installed by the original owner.
Please see the pictures and let me know if you have any questions - email is best at [email protected] and further contact methods can be shared from there. (Pictures will follow later, or check out my post on Facebook which is set to Public)
I will entertain trades for larger vehicles - leaning towards bigger mid to full sized domestic SUVs (Tahoe, Suburban, Trailblazer/Envoy, Durango - sorry but no Fords) but will also consider manual wagons (A4 avant, Jetta SportWagen, Passat Wagon). I'm OK with trucks being automatic, but if it's a car it had better be 3 pedal.
Please don't email me asking me what my lowest price is. It is $3000, which I believe is fair given the history, maintenance, modifications and condition.
Thanks for looking. Car is located in Broward County, FL. (South)
