Just trying to figure out what guys where using. I would prefer dual mass flywheel however I wouldn't mind single mass flywheel without the chatter.

I know JHM, TTV Racing and 034 make single mass just wanted some feedback on anyone that has used single mass flywheel when swapping in a 01E 6 speed.3

    thanks

Dual mass is more forgiving, quieter and is well mannered. Single mass is generally lighter, may have chatter and improves performance. I am considering a lightened smfw as I am in the middle of a clutch swap and think I would like the characteristics of it better. I am performance minded though jfyi.

Yeah IMO a lwfw is designed more for a circuit type car or spirited twisty road driving. It works best as rev matching or for faster 30mph+ roll ons.

Lwfw's are great for fast revving, and freeing up some horsepower. With that being said, these cars are HEAVY! The heavier the car, the harder it is to launch, or even get the thing moving. You'll find yourself riding it a little more than your would with a standard dmfw.

I've gone from a clutchmasters dual disc 850 with a LWAF to a Southbend stage 3 endurance with a SPEC flywheel.
I'm still in the break in period but this new set up doesn't chatter at all and I'm loving it. The old one chattered all the time.
This set up feels a lot closer to the stock set up on my allroad.
