Send up the bat signal and bam

    Ask and you shall receive.

To answer OP: no there isn't and hardly discounts and shipping with them is sketchy at times and they have tons of parts so you'll learn soon enough.

    Am I missing anything murky?

Jason is an ECS employee that posts here.

ECS isn't bad at all. Add stuff to the wishlist and sometimes they'll email you when it's been discounted. Sometimes not. Not sure what "shipping is sketchy sometimes" means. I had an issue once where the FedEx tracking number never updated and they sent a new order out the next day.

People either love them or hate them on AZ. I haven't had any bad experiences with them yet and I've purchased quite a bit through them. Took advantage of their free shipping for larger items such as my skid plate and cupra lip.

I've been a casual customer of theirs for years and I've never really had any major issues. They definitely have a large assortment of products across the board so it's hard to not shop with them. A major factor for any online shopping is location though, free shipping speed is really dependent on where you are. If a few states over, sure, go for it. Across the country, might want to pay to get it to you faster. Otherwise I don't rely on free shipping for things I need or want immediately. Then again we're all at the mercy of inventory, fulfillment skills, processes and of course the carriers. So it's all about customer service when things go wrong.

I need a new belly pan too. I was thinking to go with OEM. Mine lasted 14 years and still looks ok, but the bracket is sagging and the center of the plastic broke off.

And no, never seen any discount codes for them. They do a lot of re marketing where you'll get follow up emails on viewed items, suggestions, sales and wish list items. Worst case just email and ask for the sale price you missed. Never know...

I contacted them yesterday for an OEM trailer hitch for my Q5 that they had priced at $789. I asked if they would price match the dealer who sells the same thing for $644. They said no, so I deleted everything in my shopping cart (coilovers and rear sway bar) and went elsewhere... A few years ago when I needed new rotors for my stage 3 ECS BBK they asked if I would be interested in the new stage 4 ECS BBK at a sizable discount which I jumped on.... So they are pretty much hit and miss but from what I have been reading lately it's more miss than hit...

Dealerships often have the upper hand on Genuine Audi parts pricing, there's not much we can do about it, unfortunately.

Many times if a competing vendor offers the same part we carry at a lower cost we'll be happy to price match it.

This is still the first vehicle forum that doesn't automatically get a 5%-10% off coupon code for members. The other forums I am a member of, companies are not alloud to advertise if they do not give something of a deal/discount/offer to a registered member on the Forum

I understand but as a long time customer of ECS I would have thought a discount would have been nice... But I get it, you probably paid more for the part than I could get it for. Thank god for google shopping!!

We are a business and our main goal is to generate revenue. As a consumer, it is definitely your right to shop around and look for the best deal. Never hurts to ask about discounts, just at this time we do not have anything in place. That doesn't mean it will never happen though.

Audi Club of North America membership - gets you a 10-20 percent discount on parts. More often than not the dealership prices beats online even before shipping.

Plus its nice to stop by the dealership every once in a while to check out the new models and chat. My local parts desk guy has a B5 S4 with GT28s, BBK, etc.

Car didn't have one when I got it, it's lowered too. Thought aluminum would be the best idea

They are only a state away from me. I'm in Michigan.
    The skid plate looks solid.
The diff insert bushings are a great way to do it. I helped BMR with the same thing on the s550 mustang, so I know they work as intended.

I'm in a bordering state and I plan on anything i order from them to take 5 days. I haven't tried one of their paid options yet to see how big of a difference it is. Typically things only take 1 or 2 days to get to me from Ohio.

ECS is like that one sex-crazy ex-GF you still keep in touch with.
You know you're gonna have to go back sooner or later and who knows what'll happen.
Sometimes it's a smokin hot deal, other times she lets your dog out of the yard and tries to burn down your kitchen.
Fuck ECS, we hate to love you but we still do. Sorta. ;-)

At least we can all agree the website is beautiful for finding OEM part numbers so we can find them at a lower price from somewhere else lol....
