    Meyle HD vs Lemforder

I'm looking to refresh my front end suspension

Does the Meyle HD live up to its hype of being better than the OEM equipment

There's not a huge difference in price but the HD range looks good

Could you elaborate on what the issues with Meyle HD are?

I replaced my OEM worn out control arms with new Meyle HD, got pretty good pricing from FCP Euro. No problems with 10k+ miles so far. Installation no problems. Not much of a ride difference from the factory ride in my opinion

I've had Meyle, 034, Lemforder and for some odd reason Delphi, on all at the same time. They all had 30-40k when I replaced them. I cut into the ball joint end and found that Lemforder to be more beefy than the rest. However, Meyle had the most grease. As for the bushing, I found that the Lemforder held up the best. No cracking or splitting, where as the other ones were starting to show signs.

If you can afford 'em go with Lemforder. Otherwise get Meyle and forget the rest. I do highly recommend 034 upper strut mount. WAY WAY better than OE.

I just finished doing a complete front and rear revamp. At 115k, the rear end was OE and I was getting too much twerking. I replaced everything with Lemforder/OE. No more tramlining, very little to none steering corrections. Going over expansion joints is very solid and dampened. Very little vibrations coming into the cabin.
