3.0 - Camshaft Position Sensor Connectors

Hey 3.0 peeps (and you degenerate 1.8 guys snooping),

Last weekend when I was replacing my passenger side from o2 sensor (worst job ever, btw), both my rear camshaft sensors broke. I taped them on for now, but I want to replacement. Thing is, the part number I recorded is only for the straight portion of the connector, not the elbow. Can I just use these anyway and not have the 90 degree bend? Should I buy the connector and re-pin the existing whiles, or cut and crimp new pig tails? P/N btw is "1J0 973 703", which ends up being just a 2 pin, but the sensor is a 3 pin. Here's the sensor in reference. I need 2 (likely 4) of the connectors that plug into this. Will this connector work if I de-pin the old connector?

    Sensor in question:

So you are looking for the 90 deg connector on the harness that plugs onto the sensor? If you can't find it new I have a spare harness i can chop them off.

exactly what I need. I broke one on the driver's side back in 2013 when I did my timing belt and didn't know how the electrical clips on the audi worked yet so I want to replace them all. Do you have 4 solid condition connectors? If so, I'd shoot you some cash for shipping + worth if you wanna do that. Also, thanks for the research efforts. That diagram is overwhelming, but I book marked it so I can replace other connectors later on

Yeah yeah. Maybe one day I'll order em up. The drivers side was easy, it was just the passenger side that was a mess.

Oh and to add to it, my drivers side front o2 threw a P0150 the other day after I did this. Before clearing I was checking the fuel trims and that side was super rich compared to the passenger side. I cleared the code and now my trims are practically even (about as close as they will get). Im hoping it was a freak issue, but I'm not too convinced.
