STi Front Lip on B7 Sline A4

Sorry for bringing up an old thread! but i didn't know how i felt about this, well anyways
i wanted to buy a front lip for the B7 and was doing a search, i stumbled upon the STi thread and the Cupra Thread well i decided to buy the 06 STi front lip from EBAY (I mean it was only 40 dollars with shipping)
and to tell you the truth i absolutley love this lip i got a buddy rocking the cupra lip and i wanted a more aggressive look because when put side to side his lip wasn't noticeable and didn't make the car look so aggressive as the STi lip and the edges on the cupra lip looked too short like if the lip wasn't meant for the b7

yeah feeling it since every B7 i see has the cupra lip, it was a pretty easy job for fitment like a 15 min job, i wish they made more styles of front lips for our cars tho !

I like it a lot. I get what your saying about the cupra lip, it does kinda look short on the sides. Do you have a link to the lip you bought? Also how hard was it to mount?

very easy i just had to cut the sides at the very end to fit and the lip i bought was this one and it was fast shipping !

I'm pretty sure that would fit also just make sure its not an 05 i bought and 05 sit lip and it did not work for me btw its on the line bumper buddy!

I haven't ordered one yet. Was going to go cupra but kept putting it off because of the shipping cost. But this is free shipping. And more aggressive might complement the csr skirts...

had to cut the edges at the very end with a butcher so it cuts in a straight line and lightly sand the edges with 800 grit sand paper

I actually ordered the same lip that the OP did for my non s-line bumper and it didn't fit at all. Way too wide, I took it off immediately. I should've thought to take pics for reference

?? Did you not look at the original post? Or you mean it was actually wider than the bumper? He had to trim it to get it to fit and you can see in the pics it's much wider than the bumper, that was how he had wanted it

Yeah I read through everything and asked him what his process was for cutting it down before I ordered one. I hoped that something slightly more aggressive than the cupra would complement the CSR side skirts that I have. But it was way too wide for the bumper, and I couldn't bend or trim it enough to make it look right.
