Window Tint - Can the sliding window sealing mechanism on our cars ruin new tints?

Might be a stupid question but I know they advise you not to roll down your windows when you get new tints however I was just thinking about how our windows roll down a bit when we open our door and then roll up to create a good seal due to the frameless design. I was wondering if this could possibly ruin new tints?

I was wondering if I should be looking into letting my car sit for about 4 days if this is the case. Also the shop tinting my car said they don't remove any panels to install tints in the A5 because of the frameless design - is this consistent with whoever you guys got your tints from?

I didn't have any problems with mine at all. Drove away with mine immediately after they were done installing. No rips, no nothing. HTH

No issues with tint in my car. The most risk would be the first day or two so I had mine done on a Friday so I could have it sit all weekend in the sun to dry up. They didn't have to remove any panels either. I wasn't aware tint shops had to remove panels to do tints.

No issues with mine at all. The drop when opening the door is minimal. I think that the bigger danger would be rolling the window down and stripping off a large area.

Shouldn't be a problem. I don't have the windows that move but I've had and done tint since I've been driving. I don't see that minimal movement affecting anything. I've had new tint rolled down by a passenger it didn't do anything. And honestly if it did your shop would fix it and then I would say don't drive the car. JMO

Didn't think we needed moleskin on our cars. Can someone else confirm?

I haven't had issues either. Just saying what I know to be a product to fix it.
