So I traded in my tundra and got back into the euro world. I had a 2001 GTI that I had from 05-06. I'm planning just a few things for her. Currently, I tinted the windows, ordered 18x8 Niche Misano wheels with Kuhmo Tires, H&R sport springs and the ECS OE performance intake package (silicone inlet and K&N drop in filter). My future plans are APR stage 1 tune from APR themselves since they are local to me, RS3 style mesh grille from ECS and put swap out the interior lights to LEDs.

Update 1: Springs and OE performance came in. Installed the ECS parts last night. Wheels and tires will hopefully be here next weekend and then I'll install those and the springs.

Nice! I have a similar situation (went from a Silverado back to a 1.8T A3). How do you like the ECS intake?

It was simple to install. Haven't noticed a difference tho. I'm going to get the APR stage 1 tune here soon at their building.

    Nice!

We're off to the same start. I just got a Glacier white 2015 2.0t. H&R Springs are going in next week as well as a set of 19" Rotor style wheels. I used a drop in aFe filter and will getting a GIAC tune in the very near future. Possibly when the springs are installed

I'd have to check the stock wheel weights. They aren't heavy but they are a little. It heavier than stock ones. Each one of the new wheels was 51 lbs with tire mounted and nitrogen filled.

51lbs is heavy for a 18". I weighed a stock 17" with tire it was 43ish lbs. My 20x9" S7 wheel weigh 52lbs with tire. The 19x8 wheels that came on my car weigh 48lbs. My 17" RPF1s with tire are 35lbs.

I was just going by what the shipping label said. My numbers might be skewed for them to get more money lol

I like it. It's definitely a noticeable jump. Even at like 50 and hitting it to pass people. Before I even realize it I'm doing 90+ lol

How do those H&R springs ride looks like a good right height with just a little space above the tire. I almost feel like ED springs go a little too low but they are linear and maintain oem ride characteristics so needless to say I am so on the fence about what springs to eventually put on my car
