CEL came on. Can someone help me interpret my VAG-COM scan???

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Guys, my CEL came on today so I plugged in my VAG-COM to see if I could narrow it down. Sadly, I don't understand what my scan spit out. Can someone interpret this for me? Any help would be appreciated, as I would like to avoid a trip to the dealership if it's something I can fix on my own. Thanks in advance for any help!

What version of VCDS? Try updating to latest version and rescan.

I found this. Seems to be the same code but yours says "Unknown Error Code.

Would that be for bypass valve or the intake runners? You can clear the code and see if it come back and then if it does try to clean both of the TB's on the car the main and bypass and see if the code comes back.

If its for the runners your going to have to pull the Sc to get to them.

Yeah, my VCDS is an eBay one, so I'm stuck with 12.12 or it won't work with my scanning tool. After my Ross Tech scanner from my B5 and B6 didn't work on my S4, I went cheap.

Stupid question, but how do I clear the code. Is there a way I can clear all my codes, or do I have to go into the engine controller separately to clear that code specifically? I've only used my VAG-Com to tinker with settings and open/close the rear calipers while changing pads. I'm a rookie when it comes to diagnosing anything.

Thanks for the help so far, guys!

All versions have a clear all codes function...I can't remember how 12.12 works though. Easiest method is to open the engine controller, hit fault codes and clear manually.

Thanks. Just took care of it. Hopefully it was an anomaly and doesn't come back. I really don't have time for a trip to the shop.

Thanks for the help guys. I really should know this stuff by now, being that this is my third Audi.
