I have a 2010 Q5 and i reactivated my XM but i cant find the Sirius option now. I click on radio, then band, my only options are FM and AM. i have done some searching and it looks like i need to update my MMI to get that option back. i wanted to confirm that is what the fix is. i do have Vag-Com is there a way to fix it with that? thanks for any insight you can give me.

You have Q5 2010 so you should have P0110 software in your MMI 3G HIGH.
You are right: there is a glitch with SIRIUS module on 2010 model year (You have SIRIUS module, not XM ) where "SIRIUS" option dissapears (some glitch with SIRIUS module soft I guess) and MMI software update includes update to SIRIUS module.

Now from my experience - its 50/50 because if its purely software related - Your SIRIUS module will get updated via MMI soft update and will fix your issue. (Latest available software for your MMI is "K0133" version)

If it is physical/HW issue of the module - this software update will not help of course...

You say you have VAG-COM: do you get any error or fault code on SIRIUS module (Address 56)? Check it out - as it might assist in determining reason for such behavior.

...And I have answered your PM :)
