I've never been a fan of Philips auto LED options.

I'd probably stick with one of our vendors here like deAuto.

Just for what it's worth, the color doesn't add anything to the efficacy

Skip on the philips.. the color is more similar to normal halogens than the yellow advertised.

I would use a yellow fog light tint. Worked best for me on my B7 after trying different bulbs.

Where did you get the tint and also did you have to take out the fog light housing?

laminx... or try the 3000k leds. just avoid the philips bulbs if you're looking for yellow fogs.

The yellow filter goes around the bulb? And no codes went off after the install? Loving the yellow out put.

Yep it's like a sticker you stick onto the bulb. No codes.

Mine I used laminx. Yes I removed the housing. It was very simple and you retain your factory lights, so no codes.

    LED yellow fog lights recommendation

^ very easy to remove (3 screws after you pop the plastic surround off). I bought a set of 3000k 100w halogen bulbs and also wrapped the front lens (not the bulbs) with a single layer of yellow Laminix. Looks awesome in the day with those yellow lenses and the bright (as all heck) yellow fog light output is fantastic for snow, rain and fog.

I have yet to find an LED fog set up that can rival the light output of a 100w halogen. If you're going yellow I think halogen and Laminix are the way to go.
