    RS 7 Exhaust note setting

In "individual settings" the exhaust is set to "dynamic mode" But the only way you can hear a deeper note in normal drive mode ( not sport mode) is to goes into car systems, bring up individual settings, change exhaust setting from previously set "dynamic" to "normal" then back to "dynamic."
By doing this i can hear a deeper note while in regular drive mode. Have to do this every time you start the car
Is there any other way to set this permanently ?

Only the RS has an individual exhaust setting. S cars we don't get the individual control, dynamic mode should go into the open flap mode after start up. The CETE Active Valve Control would remember dynamic on start up. http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...highlight=CETE

Was emailing with CETE the other day. Here is what he sees is factory behavior and his modules behavior
Originally the valves are like that:
Comfort = Closed most of the time and high engine loads => open
Auto = same / Sport-Gear does the same as Dynamic
Dynamic = in stand open, but after restart of car closed + closes while drive and opens again on high engine loads

    With our valve control:
Comfort = closed completely (opens above 5000rpm to safe engine from damage on high engine load)
    Auto = 100% as original
Dynamic = permanently open, also after restart of car

My 2017 S6 with sport exhaust has an exhaust selection setting (comfort, auto, dynamic) under the "Individual" setting and it appears to impact the exhaust note - particularly if the transmission is moved into "S" mode you get the burbling/popping noise.....
    2017 S6 APR Stage 1. Audis past include '14 S5(APR Stage 1 and intake) '06 S4, '01 A6 2.7 T(GIAC "chip") and

Dam it Audi, thought the facelift cars would be more identical. 2016 and I assume prior don't have exhaust in individual settings. Engine sound is the soundaktor.

I have my individual set to dynamic but I noticed or think I noticed that if I'm in dynamic mode, then switch to individual the exhaust closes. I have to switch to say comfort then to individual to get the exhaust to open... Sound about right?

    RS 7 Exhaust note setting

I also have a 2017 S6 with sport exhaust, but I don't have an exhaust selection setting...I do have "engine sound" like in the picture widebodyfx posted above.

I haven't looked in VCDS. There is a flapper mod for the golf guys. Wonder if that would work on the C7 if you really wanted to keep the flaps open all the time.
