Injen intake on 2016 A7 SAI no filter?

I'm in the middle of installing my injen intake, I am worried that the SAI (secondary air intake) hose no longer has filter protection. Where as the OEM filter protects both ends.

Is this something to be concerned about?

I say I'm in the middle because it looks like I need to remove the belly pan to get the nut I dropped from the bracket for the intake.

Definitely not sure I love that brackets design wondering if it was better on the earlier A7s. Seems like the fuel line will be running against it.

I completed the install. It worrying me that the secondary air intake isn't filtered.

The AWE kit includes a smaller filter for the SAI.

ECS tuning sells an SAI breather kit. I can't remember the PN# but there are a few threads on this. I used it and it works great.

It works with our cars even though it doesn't list it.

The hose that connects to the bottom of the stock air box? That connects pre filter, not sure where it goes but mine routes towards he bumper.
