Headlights no auto dim

I have the highbeam assist and it mostly works, windy roads it doesn't always auto drop the high beams with oncoming traffic.

Not sure what MY you have, but 2017 RS has this feature. You have to turn it on in the MMI. When you activate the hi-beam via the turn signal you should see the white hi-beam indicator in dash with an "A" in the center. Should only see the traditional blue indicator when light is actually on. Just actually just played with that feature the other night.

Mine works great. Sometimes it will go to low beam by accident if a house has a very bright light at front of their driveways and it senses vehicles I would never have thought it could sense. As an example when you are about 200yatds behind another car at night it still goes to low beam.

Auto high beam in my RS7 doesn't work in the city...too many lights so it doesn't activate the high beam automatically. I find it works only when I am on dark roads with no to few street lights.

I must have deactivated it. Will look in MMI. was working fine until a couple of days ago. Do the headlights need to be on auto?

Yes the headlight switch needs to be on auto
