    Cool Simple, Clean & Slammed // 2017 A6 2.0T on 21" Vossen VFS2 // TAG Motorsports

Sometimes, plans just come together nicely and this project is certainly a PRIME example. It all started on Black Friday 2016, when our client entered our door for the first time in his newly acquired Oolong Grey 2017 A6 2.0TQ. He had seen Vossen's Sale and saw our sale via social media and had a general idea of what he wanted. Aggressive, slammed, and without breaking the bank. Instantly the ideas started flowing.

Being that Vossen's VFS1 and VFS2's had a very nice 21x9 fitment for the car, we opted for the VFS2's and custom finished them in Semi-Gloss Black. The rubber is always important, and being that Pirelli recently released the A0 Spec (Audi Specific) 265/30/21 Pirelli P-Zero (PZ4) tire, it was a no brainer to go that road. He wanted to keep the ride smooth/comfy so the H&R Coilovers did the trick bringing the car down sitting nicely. We added the front SPC Upper control arms to keep the front wheels as close to the factory recommended alignment spec's. To top off the Black new 21" Rolling Hardware, he elected to go with our traditional TAG Motorsports Black-Out Package. Mixing the accents in Satin and Gloss Black for a perfect overall balanced look!

The end result was absolutely stunning. We all fell in love with the project as it was just so simple and clean.

Here is the complete list of Modifications

-21x9 Vossen VFS2 Wheels in Satin Black Finish
    -265/30/21 Pirelli P-Zero Tires

    -H&R Coilover Suspension
    -SPC Front Upper Control Arms
    -TAG Motorsports Black-out Package

What happens to the front fender when turning a corner and you hit a pothole? Or has the suspension been welded solid?

Good Question, When the wheel is turned at that significant OF AN amount, the speeds you are TRAVELING AT ARE quite slow, if you are ENGAGED IN harder driving, there MAY be some turns you take that COULD rub. HOWEVER, when your vehicle is this low, it is more setup for cruising than spirited driving.

This car is equipped with the SPC Control arms which helped us dial the camber back to OEM spec’s. BUT, in some cases the client would like to drive hardER, and have this ride height.**What we do in that case is use the SPC Arms to give the car A MORE aggressive alignment up front causing the tire to be further away from the fender during turns.

I agree with the slower speed while turning sharper. I would have issues with some driveways and entrance/exits that couldn't be taken fairly straight on. Even then, the splitter might get damage. Freaking looks good, though.

    Thanks for the response.
