    Stage 1 upgrade 2003 S6 Avant?

I have searched the usual aftermarket manufacturers and nobody seems to make a stage one performance upgrade for the 2003 C-5 S6 Avant. The closest they come is APR's upgrade for the C5 4.2 sedan which has 40 less horsepower than the stock S6 Avant. Any suggestions?

    Nope.

You can dump all the money you want into software and you won't get hardly any improvement. More power from the V8 is going to take at least a little bit (alot) of work; you're basically looking at trying to get the engine to S8 specs OR bolting on a supercharger.
You might get a dozen people with ideas of how to do it, but the truth is if it sounds too good to be true then it absolutely is. Even the usual bolt-ons (like long tube headers, intake mods) give you minimal returns in exchange for ALOT of money and tons of labor.

For the amount of work and investment the best thing you can do is a 6 speed trans. Supposedly you free up about 15-20hp from the auto trans losses and lose about 200lbs in weight. AND closer ratios and WAY more fun to drive and easier to sell down the road. On top of that you ditch the tiptronic trans that's waiting to fail anyway.

    This X500!!!

Want more power to weight = loose weight.

Trans is a HUGE difference both in weight loss and power loss gains. My car, with a few other small tweaks, drives and feels much like a manual B6 S4.
