    center console kneepad

saw the new BMW F80 M3, couldn't help but wonder if this idea is worth adding.

My knees smack the sides (such as center console), but I'm also on regular US non-sport seats, which have poor bolster support.

Looks like other models might have it too, including M2.

But I'd go with the Harbour Freight version above. That way, you'll have it in every car you drive!

I would love having this. Being 6', the cockpit of the b6 is rather tight and my knee tends to buckle over to the console.

Im 5'4" and 432 lbs. of twisted steel and sex appeal. I fit just fine when I can manage to get myself into the car.... no need for knee pads when you have the natural cushion I have.

Why would you need a leg rest? You are sitting. Your legs are rested.....

If we all get as fat as me, this will be a non-issue.... start eating fellas!

Edit: Spike's post deletes are even more annoying than the non-padded center console.

when I'm driving 1300 miles in one shot, and only stopping every 5-6 hours for fuel, I find my knee tends to rest against the console. After 12-15 hours of my knee against the console, I start dreaming of a little more padding.
