I'd at least take the RS5 emblem off of it since it's not an RS5. Solid work though.

Looks fantastic. You did an excellent job fitting that bumper cover. Skirts look great too.

Look really good....but, and this is a big but.....you really should've bit the bullet and purchased a pair of headlights with the LEDs. I'm guessing that you could probably find them used really cheap because so many people replace theirs with e-codes. The LEDs are one of the most desireable features of these cars.

One question-- The RS5 wheels are OEM or reps? I'm asking because the rear wheels really look tucked and I'd think that an OEM wheel with the correct offset wouldn't look like that on an A5 body.

I actually like the headlights without the LED strip. Cleaner than the older style led "dots" IMO.

    Nice rescue OP!

Really? You must be part of that 1%.

    LOL

Even so, you can always turn off the LEDs if that's the way you feel. You can't turn them on if you don't have them though...

Yes .. I thought about it long
I wanted to do the facelift conversion
But most of the parts from this Audi were in good shape including the hood .. and front lights
Didn't want to spend more sourcing new headlights , hood and getting a rs5 facelift bumper .. which is more cash ?????? By the way
On top of that .. coding .. wiring ...
I was contemplating for a while

    They are reps
    20x9.5 with a 35mm offset

I am gonna go with some 20mm spacers eventually for the back ..

I sourced this bumper from a company out of California called Fsdirect --
    Bumper Manufacturer: Konzept Automobiltechnik-
They make alot of parts for european aftermarket including Volkswagen , audi, and Mercedes benz - Google brand

Bumper comes complete with grilles and everything you see in the pictures.. It is meant to fit the a5 fenders with no modifications. ( Just bolt on and go) AS IS $1075

You can also purchase for 2013-0n ( Facelift ) - But price is alot more $1999

I don't like the halogen housings, but yes now that the dot LEDs feel outdated, this housing is (ironically) cleaner now.

Trust me . I have been in the bodyshop business since 2004

I have no problem recommending this bumper to any one looking to upgrade or replace

I could get the MS paint out if I need to.

Just goes to show that people in the industry don't have an eye for detail. If I can pick out multiple things IN PICTURES then the real life product must be borderline scary and certainly wouldn't pass for most enthusiasts.

and I'm not talking about just the front clip.

Not trying to bash you but a quick glance you can see that the hood on the drivers side doesn't sit flush like the passenger side.
    Good job on saving it.

Nice job! I would have painted the lower part of the bumper red instead of silver and vinyl wrapped the silver trim around the windows black. Just my opinion.

The drivers side is nearly correct. The passenger side is pretty far off. That gap should be about 5mm IIRC.

I see the detail your talking about ..

Granted being the the car was wrecked / salvaged .. It's possible that I overlooked that detail .. I did the best I could to salvage the parts I had .

Then again .. for those trying to fit the bumper on a clean car with no previous wrecks .. I am more than sure this bumper will fit flawless with no gaps ..

I agree with you. The orange reflectors don't bother me at all and I would never spend a dime to switch them out.

These cars with US spec lamps with amber corners are equal to the perfect bum with two bright red pimples on each cheek. But maybe you guys like that kinda thing... Maybe if you have an orange car, they work okay. Otherwise they're a disruption.

It'll forever be an argument. And ecodes will forever look better. And every single person that took the meh on ecodes stance, and eventually got them, LOVE them. They back step all the way out of what they said pre. Clean is clean... who wants to draw the eye to orange plastic in your headlamp. This feels like the gold ole days

It'll forever be an argument. And ecodes will forever look better. And every single person that took the meh on ecodes stance, and eventually got them, LOVE them. They back step all the way out of what they said pre. Clean is clean... who wants to draw the eye to orange plastic in your headlamp. This feels like the gold ole days
my buddy who is completely brand new to audi, surprised one of his first mods was ecodes. dude was like " yea that orange shit is ugly, I want them ecodes". paid around 700 for the set, and when it comes to sell, he can prob get 600. 100$ to have a super clean front end for a few years, totally worth it. cut off is so much better too. to people they are paying 600+ for no orange, which is not true. for 600, you are getting a complete full head light house, euro speced with clear corners. looks and function. try buying a new headlight, them shits r like 1500 a side.

anyways im not here to argue with them on what they should spend their money on lol so ill end it at that

    OP, car looks great...............:D
