    Crank position sensor

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    looking to get a new Crankshaft Position Sensor. But i am undecided between makers

    Have anyone heard anything bad or good for these sensors? Is anyone running ? Or just stick with OEM?

    Pretty much the most important sensor on the car.... Buy OEM (or unbranded OEM). It's reasonably cheap and will last years and years and years...

    Second for Bosch, it's the OE sensor manufacturer. $41 is cheap insurance for never having to worry about it for a long time.

    Thank you all for the replies that exactly what i was thinking. Dint really want to cheap out too much and had my eye on the Bosch.. Meyle at 60 bucks wasn't making any sense.
    when ever i install in the car and get it running i will try to give some feedback after a couple thousand miles!

    Keep an eye out for the aluminum spacer that can be stuck to the old sensor, it spaces it out a bit so that the sensor doesn't hit the flywheel.

    haa yes, thanks . when i did a thread search i saw that a few had lost it and the sensor was hitting the flywheel
