Great example of how classic/beautiful the B8 S4 lines have become. B8.5 and B9 look good, but I think the B8 will continue to age the most gracefully.

Awesome video! And that car looks and sounds amazing.
Not sure if there are any film tricks involved (done on a dyno or filmed going down hill) but from the video that thing is moving. 46 to 134 took about 6 seconds and 46 to 172 about 10 seconds. The final run from 66 to 195 took about 31 seconds.

Maybe I did a crap job at searching but does anyone know what OEM 20" peelers people are using on the S4 or the S5? Or are people going aftermarket with Hartmann? I do like that look a lot and I want to keep my car OEM looking. Thanks.

Not sure of offset and fitment but the a8 and I think q7 have larger than 20" peelers.

Very interested in this! I'm in the UK and MRC are who did my Stage 2. Always knew they'd be shooting for more, but that's more than I expected!

So normal stage 2 is a map and pulley which gets about 470BHP. MRC use an oversized crank pulley whereas other tuners use an undersized supercharger pulley, however they're both basically doing the same thing.

For this stage 2+ MRC have apparently gone for a supersized crank pulley, instead of the dual pulley that people were expecting. Wonder why?

It's not listed in the video, but I would have thought they're using a big heat exchanger to keep things cool. Also wonder what fuel they're using or any meth?

There isn't anything crazy going on in the video aside from the excellent cinematography.

If you read there FB comments it is a larger crank pulley and upgrading cooling.

If I had to take a guess, they are still under a 200mm crank.

I will post on their FB page to see if I can get more details.

I think most are going with aftermarket for 20 inch peelers. The A8 CB is not the same as the S4.
    Here's a link to aftermarket rotors which come in 18, 19 & 20 http://shop.achtuning.com/Hartmann-H...eels-Audi.aspx . They come in a 20x9 ET 40 and cost $370 per wheel.
If I needed new wheels I'd go with either the peelers or the Ti wheels in a 20 (http://shop.achtuning.com/Hartmann-H...eels-Audi.aspx)

As far as I can tell this is the car they use for their development. Doug said on fb that it has meth, they also do their own high flow cats so I'd guess it's got a pair of those on it as well.

He also said its got a few other bits and bobs they are trailing out which could be anything but is more than likely throttle body work.

I plan to get mine in over the next couple of months for stage 2 with updates charge cooler. How do you find yours?

Ya it looks faster than the dual pulley cars here. Not calling them liars but it seems too fast for the specs given. Maybe the new moderator could reach out to them to establish presence on the forum.

They don't really go on any forums, and I couldn't see them paying to have a presence on an american forum which would only bring them minimal business.

    Hi !

Don't forget that ther crack pulley is the biggest they offer. It has a S/C overdrive ratio of the order of the dual pulley set ups. So it is a dual pulley car, with a charge cooling kit, intake+cold air intake via the fog grill (if you notice : the car has a fog grill with the adaptive cruise controle hole, but without the radar !! ;o) ) Nice idea to route fresh and high speed air to the air box from this hole !. the set up has also a full miltek exhaust + sport cats. And last but not least, they run a very good quality fuel, probably their UK RON99 fuel which is likely like your AKI 94.

I have only 480hp with only stage2 pulley and intake with crappy french fuel, so 520 hp with all this extra stuff is very credible in my opinion.

All i can tell you is that MRC is a very reputable brand here in Europe, and i am very happy with my tune ! They really offer custom tune (more than 5-6 dyno runs on the dyno for my car) with the priority of engine safety!

    Cheers !!

i thought DP magic was mid range.. this car seems to climb to 195 with ease .. usually that high up it takes a little longer.. the way it was pulling you would think it would get to 220 with enough road.. someone said the car had Meth.. maybe a little juice too? 40 shot?

That was my thought too Doug.

Once my car hits ~170 it starts slowly ticking up. I've had it up to just under 190 and it definitely climbed slower than that.

I was thinking as someone posted earlier that this run was likely done on a dyno in which case the lack of air resistance may have allowed them to climb faster. Who knows.

Still no response to my FB inquiry.

The rate of ascension can easily be explained with a little camera trickery.. Speed it up so it doesn't take 30 seconds to watch the "needle" climb.. I think they are showing off getting to 195, not precisely how fast it is to get there..

I don't know if I believe their HP figures. It's VERY possible that their correction factors are not correct.

Every MRC car that I've researched has ran 11.8-11.9 @ 115-116 in the 1/4. Hardly 520 PS if those times are the latest revisions. I think they're more likely around 380-390 awhp on a conventional US Mustang.

Was it confirmed that film wasn't made on a dyno. A lot easier to get to 195 when there is no air resistance.
