I bet the proximity sensors don't fit perfectly. Had that issue on the TTS. Will try to mod them a little more come the Spring.

We'll never get the SQ7 so it will probably be more acceptable to get an RS grille =).

Completely just my thoughts, but I don't think there would be an RSQ7 just like there is no RS8.

Diesel gate is really weighing heavy on Audi. That'd be awesome if they could slip this vehicle past the goalie.

I bought the grille from x-uk and the fitment is perfect. It sets the truck apart and nobody has it.

Yes no problems with it. I fitted it but it's a big job. Took about 4hrs

Grill looks good but the slats on the fog light area dont match the grill.

Any pieces available for that area?

I wanted to get an RS style grill for my wife's 2017 Q7. Are there any stateside stores that carry this grill ? The shipping from China (via Alibaba) is pricey, and I'm wondering if it will get stuck in customs.

US isn't getting any SQ7 at the moment and they haven't even figured out which engine that market will get.

I did it for my '07 the RSQ7 badge unclips and looks like it unclips on this one also.
In my opinion it looks way better than the standard look and makes the car stand out. anyone who thinks it doesn't OH WELL there is always that 1 in the crowd lol.
I've caught a few people taking pics of my Q7, so yeah, it makes it stand out in a good way.
For mine I had to shave some places for a perfect fit, but hey if you can get the original off without breaking anything you SHOULD be able to hold back the tears and adjust things to work.

Check on Audiworld, there are quite a few done, also install tips. Car has so much tech , decided not to mess with it and to pass on it.
Plus the hassle of being pulled over.

Thanks I will check it out. I haven't read up yet on the impact that the tech has on the swap. I almost ordered the grill last night then decided to do a little more reading first. I'm glad I waited for now.

The tech is soooo finicky on this car. Camera, sensors, right in the front. I even put the front plate on, just to buffer something in case I tap something and to protect the camera. I was told that all these are also VERY sensitive and expensive as well...

Maybe I wrap the grill frame for cooler (safer) looks.
