Warranty extension natural vacuum leak detection pressure switch. (NVDL)

Got a letter from Audi extending warranty on NVDL switch. Certain 2011-2015 audi gas vehicles. EPA required. If MIL comes on and stays ON within 10 years or 120,000 miles dealer will check at no charge to determine if NVDL PRESSURE switch is bad, if it is it will be replaced under the terms of this extended warranty. If something else is wrong then dealer will tell you and cost to fix. Looks like NO DIAGNOSIS FEE. If you go for emissions test with MIL light on car could flunk test.

So that means if check engine light stays on I can go to dealer have it scanned without paying $145 scanning fee?

Seems so.if it turns out to be that switch , they replace it, if something else they tell what it is and how much to fix, no fee for checking
