What are buttons on lower driver door?

Hi all, bought a used B7 recently, no manual. I know everything in the cockpit except one of the three buttons in the lower driver side door. One is the gas cap opener, one is the trunk opener, and the third is an icon of a car on a sloped surface with some radio/audio signals coming up from the hood. What is that for?

This. Although if you're towing a quattro car, you'll need a flatbed.

Yeah I was gonna say, I'm quattro and don't have that button. I would imagine its more prevalent in FWD cars

its an anti theft feature .. some one lifts your car to steal it the alarm will go off. you disable it via this button when getting towed... or apparently .. when you are in your driveway trying to jack up the car to put your winters on and your son is nowhere to be found with the key !!!

A pretty useless feature I think. When your car is being (legally) towed, it WILL be towed.

Turn that feature on even when being towed on a flat bed. Very handy. Considering if you do not, the alarm will constantly go off while being carted around. The car thinks it's being moved when it shouldn't be.
