    A6 Headlight Fuse Location

I looked through the owners manual but didn't see anything for the headlight fuse.

I started up my car the other day and the DRLs on both sides and the rt front headlight are all out, so assuming it's a fuse since they all went out at once.

Should first look into your MMI under the car menu if everything is activated. Do you get an error on your cluster?

The headlights are controlled by the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module J519. There are 5 fuses that are tied to that module. The fuse panel D is located under left instrument panel.

Check these fuses. If they are good than maybe bad control module J519.
Hope this helps if you have not already fixed the issue.

    Update:

I checked the owners manual and the only fuse panel D is in the trunk. I'm guessing it may be in the cabin for a A4 or something?

Looking at the fuses on panel D in the trunk, no burnt fuses. So on to J519...does that have to be checked at the dealer?

The fuse panel D that is referenced in my previous post is not mentioned in the manual. According to the wiring diagram document I have this panel is located under the left Instrument panel. It is not the one in the Trunk.

    Hi.*
First post, thanks everyone for your help!
Situation: I had a working headlamp (R side) that I replaced to match the one that had blown on the L side. Within two days the R side went out. Also lost my DRLs and right turn signal. Traced the problem back to a fuse in the J519 module that had blown. I replaced the fuse and the headlight with the original OEM that was working fine on the R side.*
The fuse blew again. So now I've isolated the issue to somewhere between the fuse and the headlamp. I just don't know where.

Question: I am at a loss about any other headlamp relays between the fuse and the headlamp that might be*the issue. I can't find any other diagrams that might help me source the problem. The wiring shouldn't be shot. I imagine a bad headlamp overloaded a circuit and fried something. Anyone have any thoughts on what that might be?

Thanks in advance for any help!

A diagnostic scan wold help a lot in order to narrow down a faulty headlight module or a more serious J519 issue
