Early Lease Termination via Different Dealer

Here is situation; bought a '16 S3 from my local dealer a couple months ago. It was a downright horrible experience, to the point that I have written Audi of America via certified mail (don't EVER buy a car from Audi of Oakland). Management doesn't seem to give a crap. Apparently this isn't anything new, according to reviews, etc.

My question regards terminating my lease early for another Audi; I did a short 2 year lease because I am waiting for the RS3. When I talked to the finance department at the dealer, they told me that they would totally be willing to end the lease early if I was stepping into a newer and nicer car. This makes sense to me, as they said the lower the mileage on a lease return, the better CPO they can get for it, it's win/win for everyone. My dad does this every year, and steps into a new A4 early, and pays no additional fees, but its always with the same dealer.

But, I won't ever buy another car from this horrible dealer, so my question is whether anyone thinks a different dealer would be able to do something similar, even if I didn't get the lease from them. i.e. does anyone think that another dealer would be willing to take my car and end my lease early and help cover fees, in order to get into an RS3?

Haven't got around to asking another dealer yet. Thanks.

I would think so. With a lease, the local dealer is actually buying the car, whereas the original lease is with Audi of America. As long as you are giving them a sale, I would think they would be willing to work with you.

This means another Audi dealer, not another manufacturer (as only Audi dealers can certify pre-own them).

Yeah I figured it was probably possible, considering the lease is indeed with Audi of America and not with Audi of Oakland specifically. My buddy had a Jaguar XKR with a 3 year lease and Mercedes was willing to end his lease a year early and buyout the car from Jaguar, to get him into a CL63 lease. I've also heard of people getting some sort of "credit" for any profit the dealer can make by reselling the vehicle, after paying fees and such, although I imagine that's relatively tough to make profit.

I was going to say this is generally possible going to a different manufacturer cause they want to steal you lol but often times from what I've heard going to the same type of car they will end up just putting whatever the cost of the buyout into your new lease raising the monthly payment
