Audi Exclusive Nardo Grey SQ5

Thought I'd share this with you guys. A rare color for the SQ5 that's not a wrap or some kind of hokie dip paint job.

This is actually my wife car and her second SQ5. The first one fell victim to a wind storm and a rather larger tree branch.

Edit: No one was in the car at the time, thank GOD.

Ironically, there is only one tree on the property. And the place we were staying was temporary.

Needless to say it was a total loss.. We only had it for 11 mouths.

We consider a Macan before ordering another SQ5 but the wife didn't like it.

So here it is..

2017 Premium Plus w/carbon and alcantara interior.

Mods:
ECS spacers
Front windows tinted 35% Suntek CXP
Thule Aero Bars
Full front clear bra w/Suntek PPFC
Ceramic Pro ceramic coating including the wheels

I'll post more pics when I get a chance.

Oh geez, that looks horrible. Glad that everyone is safe even though the car was a loss. The new nardo grey color looks great - very unique!

'Wet Cement' looks really good on the SQ5. Sorry about the shortened life span of the old SQ!

GREAT Color!!!! I love Nardo! if I ever bought a RS car I'd get it or prism crystal silver...

Need some murdered out-ness for contrast... I did tint tails, rear fogs, emblems... so dope man! Ive only seen one other Nardo and it wa sin U.K. At a dealer for £88K

Thanks Mops. The valence is full gloss. I'll get a pic for you tomorrow.

The garage is a mess but the cars make it look good.

Love the Tacoma. When the 3rd gen was released I obsessed over it. Waited a year for Toyota to work out any bugs. Picked it up about 6 weeks ago. Love the looks and tech for what it is. It has all options other than JBL. If I had any complaints it would be that the trans up shifts too soon. Makes the truck feel sluggish at times. I think Toyota is working on a fix for that.

Since this pic the steps were replaced with cast aluminum running boards and badgers were removed.

Would you mind sharing the part numbers for the Aero Bars? All the ones I see look MUCH higher off the roof than yours, so I want to make sure I order the correct ones - thanks!

Really?? You'll have to try to get a pic for me. I didn't think any existed in the US. Took all of 6 months for it to get build and delivered. I was told it was due to some kind of mix up with the dealer and the factory.

Nardo was the SQ5 I wanted to order (with the Magma interior), but I didn't have time to wait where my other car died. So I had to choose Sepang that was already stateside. And I only found 2 of those east of the Mississippi that the dealer had to trade on up in Michigan.

Anyway, if I see it again, I'll grab a pic.

The inside is your basic interior with suede inserts and carbon inlays.

I have 15' SQ5 Exclusive (sat inside dealer for a year due to the ridiculous price of the interior package), did yours come with a dipstick and underseat bins? I only ask since somehow mine came with them from the factory, as per build sheet.

yep he said its all stock. that's from factory... mine are not like that haha

what i can't figure out is if my car was really that high LOLLLLL seriously wtf is wrong with audi, making these cars monster trucks haha. you'd think they would make the fenders lower LOL.

Wow, so sorry for the tree damage, that looked crazy!

If you don't mind my asking, what's your initial impression of the ceramic coating? When my new sq5 is delivered later this week, one of my first orders of business is to have it showcar polished, then coated with high gloss ceramic. Would love to hear a first-hand account.

Very simple to pop off. I received my CF Valance from Carbon Designz and plan on installing it this weekend. I'll take pics of it off and back on. Plan on selling my gray one if anyone is interested.

It was easily done on mine they said.
Comes right off with some Torx screws.

Paint shop gloss blacked it and it goes right back on.

- don't forget the parking sensors tho. Gotta black them too!

No issues at all. Works perfect.

I wouldn't wrap them in anything. But thin paint layer is fine.

I knew I'd love this color on a Q, but now that I've seen it, I LOVE this color on a Q. Holy wow. Congrats to the OP, and kudos to whoever jumps on that one with 5k miles. Man...gorgeous.
