Several friends of mine whom are mechanics/technicians swear by it especially for European vehicles due to the issues of carbon build up in the motor.

    Thoughts ?

    Use it every oil change.

    Differences? Maybe I don't know.

What's ur process? Get a cheap filter oil, run that thru it for like 20 mins, then immediately swap out with new filter and oil?

No. With the engine cold. Pour into crank case. Start engine and let it idle until running temp. (I let my oil temp get to about 190°)

Cut it off. Drain oil and change filter. Done

Carbon build up is mostly or maybe even completely due to oil vapour in the PCV system that cakes on hot intake valves. An oil additive shouldn't affect this at all.

Correct. This fluid is supposedly suppose to clean build up on the pistons
