Holset hx35 Turbo with Tim's Turbos .62 a/r Hot Side

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have a Holset hx35 turbo with Tim's Turbos .62 a/r hot side and v-band exhaust outlet for sale. Zero miles on the turbo since all seals were replaced. Zero shaft play. I was going to use it on my built 1.8, but got rid of the car for a B6 S4 instead. Looking for $400 + shipping. Thanks! You can also contact me at 607 377 7348 if its easier, but I will also be checking on here as well.

Free bump for a guy with good taste lol

Can testify, these turbos are AWESOME! GLWS!

What's the deal with the hotside of the turbo?

It's a 9cm instead of the 12cm that ordinarily comes on them. Faster spool for smaller engines is the idea.

What kinda power are these good for? I've read the turbos themselves are capable of 600+. Correct me if I'm wrong?

I put a bus length on a dyno proven 3000gt in an 1/8 race, he had 505hp at the wheels, two bus lengths on a supra that had 475. Haven't been to the dyno myself yet, but I'm easily at 450 if I had to guess. 30psi

ahh, nice. 450awhp is a pretty realistic guess then. Translates to around 540chp.

Yes sir i do! Went the 9cm route (tim's turbos custom hotside) as opposed to the twin scroll 12cm that typically comes on an hx35 for faster spool. It will not surge, or choke, it will simply pin you to your seat. These turbos make these cars total "dollar-bill grabbers".

Since the 12cm housings come into boost around 4500, when does the 9cm housing see Max boost?
