Anyone else have a rubbing sound while turning left at full lock?

Hi everyone! I have a 2016 Audi S3 that I bought new about 5 weeks ago. I've been noticing while driving in my parking ramp at work that the right wheel seems to make a rubbing sound while turning at full lock. I'm not sure if that's a common occurrence on the S3s with the 19" wheels or if I should take it in. Does anyone else have this issue?

Are you sure your not just hearing your Quattro system at work? Do you get the sound when turning either direction at full lock? I suspect it's just gear binding, if you think about it the outside front wheel is going to be doing a few full rotations while the inside rear wheel might not even be doing one full rotation when turning at full lock. Go drive in the tightest circle possible in a parking lot both directions and see if it's the same.

I'm not quite sure. This is my first AWD car. It sounds like the wheel is hitting against the wheel liner, but I'm not totally sure what it is. My parking ramp has tight corners so I turn left about 10 times every morning going up to the top. I haven't noticed the noise while turning right.

Well as I suggested maybe try making a full lock right hand turn on flat ground, sounds like you aren't hearing it when you are entering the parking garage and travelling the other way, which honestly I'd suspect if you were rubbing to hear it more when traveling down a ramp and turning than up a ramp. Do you hear it when turning left on flat ground instead of on a ramp? You can also try turning to full lock left, then get out and look inside your wheel well to see if you are touching the fender liner retaining screws or anything like that.

I've also noticed this recently on my A3 2.0, happens on a hard left turn. When I first purchased the car I didn't feel it happen, but I noticed after I had a wheel bearing replaced.
I don't know what it can be, it's definitely not my tires because I replaced all 4 a few months ago. I want to get it fixed whatever it is though because as I said earlier it definitely didn't
do it when I first purchased my car and one of my passengers noticed it to last week and brought it up.

Do you mean when making a slow turn at full lock, or making a turn at speed (what I would consider a "hard" left). OP is talking about full lock turns, that's why I mentioned Quattro. Do you have Quattro or are you FWD?

It happens with both when making a slow turn at full lock (usually turning left from a stop sign at an intersection) and making a hard left turn at speed from a dead stop (usually exiting a parking lot onto a main road).
I also have quattro. I probably wouldn't have questioned it if it always happened when I first bought my car like the OP, but since I have recently noticed it after my wheel bearing replacement. I know there definitely is something going on.
I'm going to bring it up to the service rep next time I bring the car in and see what they say, but in the meantime if someone can suggest what they think it is will help. Otherwise the reps will just say we didn't find anything, instead of investigating
car problems like they're supposed to.

I just drove down my ramp and back up...no noise. The only time I hear it is in the morning going up my ramp. Hmm

I had this same issue, had my car at Audi 6 times getting diagnosis. Finally they just undid every suspension related component on the front right, and replaced the struts. After everything was re-torqued the problem hasn't come back.
