I was wrong and incorrectly assumed that because that Ebay listing had credits, it would also be the Pro version, and it is not. You would have to send an additional 20.00 Euro to get an activation code from them which bumps it up to the Pro version. I later got that confirmed from that ebay vendor (who is also the manufacturer in Lithuania).
I just ordered the pro version directly from the manufacturer. They have a Christmas Sale. https://obdeleven.com/#section-6 51.00 Euro for Pro version plus 200 credits plus free shipping.
Looking forward to using it.

I'll go out on a limb and say it probably does as it does about 95% of what a Ross-Tech VCDS cable does.

What is the difference from turning the car on and putting it in neutral? The parking brake light isn't on. Leave it running and secure the car from rolling. Or is putting the parking brake on, putting it in drive, hitting the gas which releases the e brake and I'm assuming putting it in neutral and jack up the car running different. Sorry if I'm not getting the difference.

If the parking brake is on and you have the car in drive, the brake will automatically disengage when you press the gas pedal.

I usually will put parking brake on when on a steep hill. Press the gas and the car goes forward without rolling back.

So what does the vac com do in reference to the e brake, and replacing the brakes. If the car is in neutral and running with the parking off. Why can't I push the caliper in and change the brakes. Am I missing something here.

I don't understand what you're asking.

You have the car in neutral and the parking brake is on then press the gas? Nothing will happen. On a drive gear it will disengage. If the car is moving, the car ebraje is off and in neutral, nothing happens. Only works when car is stopped and then you press gas, it will release.

I think you can only enable hill hold assist if your car doesn't have it. Other is when the door is open and the car is in gear, some have removed the ebrake fro. Automatically coming on. Not sure why you'd want to do that... Especially during a crash so the car stops.

He goes into more detail than I think is necessary i.e. the battery support unit - I guess this ensures the battery is not drained for whatever reason.

Battery support module unit is for start/stop function. US spec cars don't have since its not an option.

Wow that was a great video explaining it, thanks. I guess I'll have the back done professionally. I saved some cash doing the front myself. I swapped to winter wheels and figured I would replace the rears brakes with the wheels off. Not worth messing anything up. That brake motor I'm sure is not cheap

Is there a way to turn the volume OFF on the parking assist sensors with OBDeleven using the long code function? I don't mind the visual, but that buzzing is errrrr!!!! Have the RS style grill from ED and the sensors sometimes start buzzing for no reason when backing up. I've adjusted them a couple times and removed the grey o-ring as advised...I know you can lower the volume, which I have but its starting get annoying AF!!!!

I have it and it works awesome. Our Canadian cars don't come with TPMS sensors hence why you can't enable it.

For US spec cars, does anyone know how to enable TPMS tire gauge?

US Audi specs cars do not use Direct TPMS with sensors to each wheel which measures absolute values. Instead, it (along with VW) uses an indirect system which monitors for a change in rolling diameter.

You can enable TPMS with VCDS or OBD11, it's a 3 steps coding process but I don't think I can link to another forum? just Google "Audi 8V TPMS VCDS"... But yeah, this is an indirect system that measures the tire speed differences with ABS sensor, it serves it's purpose. There is also TPMS2 retrofit kit that will add sensors to the tires, but still need to use VCDS/OBD11 to code the MMI/DIS display.

Audi does use direct TPMS sensors. I just received 8 new TPMS sensors. 4 for my winter wheels that never had them and 4 for my original oem wheels where they are beginning to fail due to battery life. TPMS battery life expectancy is ~ 6 to 10 years.
This is on a 2008 A5. They were used on the A5 till ~ 2010 I believe whereupon they switched to the indirect means through the use of the ABS sensors.

It's probably due to being a Christmas special. It also comes with 100 credits. So, when I think about it, it must be the Pro version as only the Pro version uses that app credit thing or an I wrong?

You may not be successful. Is your car a 08/09 A4/A5? There was a recall for the Airbag Control Module.
Both my parking brake and airbag warning lights came on at the same time when my car was jarred by a bridge expansion joint in winter. I tried to clear the faults at least 3 times with no success. A recall for this was launched last year. I had my airbag control module replaced under that recall last November (free of charge) and the fault lights have never returned. There's plenty of threads on this subject.

I just bought the cable off ebay. Seems like a really nice tool. I would get carista pro, but that doesn't support s3 mods. This seems even better as you can do long coding just like on vagcom, but from your Android phone. Not bad for around $60.

Can confirm today that mirror dip is working...I had to go into settings and un tik bit 1 in byte 4. Only keep bit 2 & 3 ticked.
