ok so here is some good info for people who want to DIY projects that involve getting the part you are painting to the exaxt stock B6 silver color.

The color is, Dupli-color Radiant Silver Metallic. Item Number EDSCC338

I found this color in a .5 ounce spray paint can. Im sure they make it in a bigger size too.

Now what i do to get an exact match on items that come black a i want to match to the stock silver is first, clean very well with like simple green or degreaser, then lay down 4 light coats of white primer( or you can possibly use grey primer), then lay down 4 light coats of the Radiant Silver Mettalic evenly, then lay down 4 coats of clear coat. Thats it. Pretty much a 95% match.

Autozone stocks it .Not available in larger size as far as I could find out.I have tried it ,not a bad match but for the price of what? 8 to 10 cans to paint your lowers you can get a perfect match from paintworldinc.com Much better grade of paint, only took 2 1/2 cans of color for all the lowers

i used a white primer and it came PRETTY damn close to perfect. And well for painting some eyelids or a spoiler or anything small sized, its perfect.

Obviously you would buy a bigger spray can with a audi paint code if you are gonna do something as big as painting your lowers.

Im just giving a cheap alternative to smaller do it yourself jobs, if you dont want to spend $40 + bucks for the whole paint set from wherever they sell audi factory paint.
