Question 1.8T (EC BFB) Difference between B6 And B7 With same engine?

Hello guys, i'm in a bit of a pain right now. Everywhere i search for tuning parts, B6 1.8t Shows up. Even tho i search for B7 Tuning parts. I then got into some site, where they said it was the same parts ( From B6 1.8t to B7 1.8T )
But i asked another guy, and he told me that B6 Test pipe wouldn't fit on the B7 Even tho it's the same engine ( 1.8T BFB ) ??
I really want to beef my engine with some Turbokit, clutch madness and around 290 PS/HP. I got the S3 injectors, i got the miltek cat back exhaust, but i need the turbokit, clutch, ignition, fuel pump and Test pipe for it to be able to run around 290 HP. I'm planning on running a Borg warner K04 build, or some Garret build, but first of all i need help finding the parts for B7 1.8T??

Help out a guy in need please :-)

This will prob give you a clue about what i'm talking about.

The kit is not mentioned to be an option for A4 B7 1.8T??? It's the same god damn engine code??!

Might be to do with the way the exhaust is set up on the B7 v B6 platforms. Not 100% sure on this though.

That it works * for the B7
It only lists as b6 NOT b7

Because 1.8t b7 is very rare and never came in the USA.

We had AMB engine code for the b6 here in the US. Is you 1.8t FSI? or port injection?

If its based off the EA113 block then its definitely more like the 2.0t we're all familiar with than the 1.8t.

If the BFB is really just the same only 1.8t that Audi built from like 1996 on then I see no reason why a b6 downpipe won't fit.

Any personally, given what that picture of the APR kit looks like, I'm pretty sure you've got an old style 1.8t.

I just checked FTZ a Danish autoparts Company, i Got on to a b6 1.8t BFB, and the exhaust looks the same, But when i open up a tab that shows "fits on" it indeed doesn't show up for mine. Even tho it's both EURO versions. Any clue on Why ?

I think because 1.8t only came one 1 year in the b7 and not the full production length of the b7
