Best carpet floor mats?

With the wet/snowy winter we're having here in the NW I let my stock carpet floormats go too long before installing some all-weather mats and the driver's side is kind of trashed. I ordered the Audi all-weather mats so I'll be set for the winter, but I need a new set of carpet mats for the spring. Looks like I can order what appear to be OEM carpet mats from ECS tuning HERE, but my current mats don't look very robust or luxurious and they are kind of stupid expensive at $231. The OEM mats also aren't rubber backed which is one reason why they got so trashed in the bad weather.

So, I'm in search of some high quality carpet mats. Haven't found much except the line from Lloyd who makes two different models, both more reasonably priced that the OEM mats, info HERE. Anyone have an experience with these, or any other upscale carpet mat sources?

Ive been wanting upgraded matts as well. For Winter I agree that the Rubber matts are the way to go. But I want upgraded matts for none winter conditions

A bunch of guys purchased Autostyle mats through a group buy awhile back and are happy. Since then, I and a few others have tried to contact the owner unsuccessfully to place an order. I've tried email, online order form, and phone. We don't know if he's just busy or if he shut down the business. Anyway, check the thread. I'm sure we can get a group buy going if we can contact the owner.

I have the Autostyle mats and love the 4 front mats. The fitment and quality are great, however the trunk mat does not fit properly. It is too big and doesn't lay flat. I have been going back and forth sporadically since July with Peter at Autostyle who is the owner and the company is is Europe. His communication is hit or miss and he still has yet to resolve the issue that I brought to his attention in July of last summer. Buyer beware...

BTW, you can order mats with or with the metal plate are custom made . Some get Black, others get anthracite. Go onto autostyle.com and check it out

no problems at all.. don't even notice its there .. no complaints from my wife and her heels either

The Weathertechs are easy to pop out and hose down. Carpeted mats will start to smell from moisture and salt brine, so will need to be washed and dried from time to time.

Somebody was critical of the OEM Audi rubber mats. Any reasons why? I had them for almost 12 years in my B6 A4 and the only drawback was the time it took to get rid of the rubber smell. Probably a year or so. After 12 years, the only visible wear was in the heal area. Held dirt pretty well, less concerned with snow/water since I'm in SoCal.

I just received my Audi OEM rubber mats for the front. They fit perfectly and look they'll work just fine, not sure why anyone wouldn't like them. I only plan to have them in there 3-4 months of the year.

Carpet mats are what I'm after: my OEMs are shot, and I don't have much interest in them based on looking at the quality. I've e-mail Auto Style and I got a bounce from the address listed. Are they out of business?

If I can't connect with Auto Style than I guess it will be Lloyds.

the audi floor mats do not have ridges along the edges to contain mud, dirt, snow, water etc. its defeats the purpose of having a rubber floor mat completely if you still get spillage and wet carpet. sure they are better than nothing, but its still a poor design.

Maybe they changed them, the new set I installed last night does have a small lip around the perimeter. Certainly not like the Weathertech liners though.

i can't make my mind if I like them or it's just too red lol surely they seems to match the red better than their black that dont match the black oem carpet.
