Proper 66.56 spacers and 40mm R13's (nobody ever knows about different ball seats, most assume they are the same). No rubbing and gets rid of that caprice classic look.

Meh, kinda hard to see/tell, need to get some outside shots.

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong thread.

    I have a B9 Allroad (2021) incoming. I believe its wheels are 18x7.5ET29.
I have a set of spare wheels in 19x9.5ET44.

According to wheel offset calculator, if I were to use the spare set, I'll have 40mm less clearance to the struts, and 10mm more poke.
The 10mm poke is still way inside the wheel well I believe, but would I have any problem with that 40mm going towards the struts? 40mm sounds like a lot to me.

    Thanks!

I'm getting only 15mm closer to the suspension, basically the difference in the offsets, but that was using a 245 width tire on both wheels. Luckily, you could use a 15mm spacer and get the same effective offset.

ET29 seems a bit odd. Sure it isn't ET39 (maybe 40) on 18x8's? I see a local '21 with 245/40/18's and usually it's fitted 8" wide. Let's go with what OP mentioned though:

It's also not just 44-29 to get 15mm spacers, he's also apparently got 1.5" more width on the rim mentioned, or .75" per side or about ~19.5mm a side to deal with going 7.5" to 9".

Lowered and going on my experience with oem 18x8 ET39 with 245's, 12mm is about the max. But not all tires are created equal (in width).

    Thanks @21A4quattro and @deviantspeed!

I got the stock wheel size from here: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/audi...-tfsi-usdm-261.
It does say the size is 18x7.5. There is a 8" wide option but looks like it's on a 19" wheel, which I believe isn't offered stock in the US.

deviantspeed is right that the less strut clearance comes from going from 7.5" to 9.5" wheels, that's 2 inches or 50.8mm, split between inside and outside rims. But because of the offset, it becomes ~40mm inside and ~10mm outside.

deviantspeed, when you mentioned 12mm is the max, what were you referring to? Is it the max extension towards the struts from the stock wheels on your car (18x8 ET39)?

My experience with stock 18x8's on my 2019, under compression I got lucky that it's not rubbing the fender metal. I did measure a bit, but you really never know until you try it. Being spaced outwards, the insides have more clearance.

Sounds like you are on the right track!

Can't wait to share, ECS has been back logged forever on 10/12mm spacers. Ended up going another route.

I might get a little hate for this one but whatever…

Anyone running the Alzor 628? They’re Rotor reps preferably in the 20”. The other sizes don’t look to have as much of the factory concave look?

The only reason I’m looking into this is because at the price some used OE sets are going for I can get into a proper performance wheel so it’s not really worth it to me for a heavy cast wheel. And currently just want to daily on a nice OEM+ look and buy a different performance wheel set for HPDE events.

Nice! What’re the specs? I’ve been toying with the idea of putting these on my 18’ Mythos black. I may go 20”. Can’t really go wrong for the price and what they weigh so I always end up coming back to these.

Any more pics of it? Looks great!

Fitted Eibach pro-kit springs to the rear today. Original s-line front. The rear was way higher than the front so was hoping to even it out. Standard wheels, 18x8 ET40. 245/45 18. Have new 19” wheels to go on, will take a pic in the next few days when I get them on.

I'm looking at upgrading my 2022 A4 Premium stock 17" wheels. I'll be keeping stock height. Trying to go with something that will give no issues. I'm looking into 19" or 20". What would I need to flush out with the wheel well a little better and still have no issues while driving and turning? I'm a complete noob when it comes to wheels and tires. Way too many things to factor in.

    Looking at something like these.

Very similar tires. The AS4 provides a bit better dry traction and the DWS a bit better snow. The noise levels seem to be about the same. The DWS should last a bit longer. For AZ, I would go AS4.

Thanks Mops! That’s what I had gathered and why I was also leaning a bit more toward the as4. The wear was the big ?. I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews on the AS4 in particular

I’m running 4 sets of AS4 right now lol. Wear seems to be good. No matter, you’re getting pretty close to PS4S dry grip with much more tread life.

Hi, I’m looking to buy a set of BBS SR 19 inch for my 2018 A4 S line 2.0T but I am a bit puzzled with sizes ….

The online shop shows that they’re available in 19x8.5 with either ET32 or ET46. However, when I select the tyres and alloys package, they suggest that ET46 goes with 245/35 tyres or ET32 with 225/40 (???).

I was really hoping to fit ET32 with 245 or 255/35 tyres without any issues, having the stock S line sports suspension.

Any thoughts on this? For sure I will never go 225/40 as it sounds stupid.

    Many thanks!

You can fit 265's on ET32 wheels on the Sline suspension.

    Hey folks,

So I am a new owner of a 2016 audi a4 B9 wagon, currently looking for some wheels and I found some really nice gun metal ones that would fit the color of the car, but looks like they come from an A5. I wonder if the fitment will be fine with these dimensions:

    17x8.0 ET25 235x45
    17x7.5 ET27 235x45

The current wheels are 17x7.0 ET47 and they look awful the way they are so far inside the arches but I figure that is because they come from a VW Passat and they have different wheel specs. Any help or insights are appreciated!

Any pics of them on the car? These have always been one of my favorite wheels. 100% performance dedicated but still look beautiful. These must look super aggressive installed

Here they are. I'd go 255 next time, but the price difference with 245s was like getting one tire free.

Car has OEM sport springs, Bilstein Sport B8 (Bilstein code, not chassis code).

For S4/5 owners, this likely won't clear your front calipers. If someone wants to check fitment in the Portland area, then PM me. PXL_20220710_214354886.jpgPXL_20220710_214252967.jpgPXL_20220710_214206236.jpg
