Next, I purchased the Thule Aeroblade rack in all black so I could mount up my skis. To top it off, got the Inno Large wind faring for the front which significantly cut down on the noise. For some reason the Aeroblade didnt seem to be too quiet.

Lastly, just because I like this picture... oh and it also has my new plates !

Looks awesome man ! Can't wait to get my catback done so I can have those quad tips

Really love what you did to your ride! Looks amazing and think you are the second person to have that rear valence installed! Really changes the rear quite a bit! Actually thought about doing the same, but didn't get the quad tips with my exhaust setup.

BTW, what tires did you get with your rims? Thats my next purchase in a few months. Looking for a quieter tire with decent handling for normal/aggressive road driving. Will be getting track rubber for the stock 18's.

If people can't say something good or at the very least provide solid constructive feedback, then they need to be quite. These are generally people who would never open their mouth to you face to face but on the Internet feel free to talk sXXX about everyone. Those are typically people one would expect to find on the Civic forums.......dreaming of one day having enough money to rent a room of their own, buy a used Civic and put a fart can exhaust on it and slam it to the ground. Come on now, let's all play nice.

On my winter setup went with some blizzaks, on the summer setup went with the conti pro sports, cant say they are quiet for being a pretty aggressive road tire

How is the sound of the Quad Milltek on the A3? I remember hearing there were volume differences between S3/A3 for some reason. Car looks great man!

There might be a slight sound difference, but its not too different. I am in fact running the S3 model of the exhaust since the A3 one hadnt been released yet. It has a nice deep throaty sound, and the dsg farts are incredibly noticeable, and it also doesn't drone at high speeds. Also its non-valved, but if you want it to be quiet (ie: driving through a neighborhood late at night), as long as you dont get on it, it sounds like a stock a3. Its honestly every thing I was looking for in an exhaust. I'm not sure itll stay the same when I throw in a down pipe though haha.....

I have the non-valved version, the valved version wouldnt work because we don't have the electronics down there to run it.

Decided to change it up again for this summer. Here is a teaser, which isnt really a teaser. Wheels will be on Saturday and should hopefully have some pics up this weekend.

and just because this is a great shot from last weekend after doing some scouting for where to take pictures with the new wheels.

A bit of a late update, but I purchased the fully perforated flat bottom from euro price with the s-line badge. This might be one of my favorite upgrades to the car, just because I get to touch it every day

also a shout out to the bluegaruda phone holder which you can kind of see in the shot. The thing is amazing for a clean look and solid phone holder. You can find it here

Beautiful man, just a quick question but I have a 2016 Audi A3, are there different blacks? Our cars look idential (mine without the mods). I've seen another black color but not sure what the difference is.

His car is Brilliant Black, you can get the A3 in Mythos as well, but that shows up pretty similar in pictures.

Ah ok, mine is brilliant black as well, the mythos seems to have some sort of metallic undershine to it, mine is more of a deep rich black.

You don't have to be an AH about it though. People put a lot of thought into build cars...are they perfect for everyone? No. He likes it, put a lot of time and money into it, comment on the positive, don't disrespect the guy. I had a project car on Audiworld a number of years back, if you would have commented to me like that, I would have swatted you in the back of the head.

    Summer update 2016

So I was able to get the VMR V710s in Hyper Silver.

I had a change of heart on the bronze, and it just wasn't enough contrast for me in the end. I have seen how they look on white cars, and it just looks so much better. I loved the wheels, so I stuck with the same size, and went with a dedicated summer tire. Conti Extremecontact DW's. You can read a whole review of the wheels here. But I'd figure I would post some other pictures here that aren't 100% wheel related.

How are you liking the CQuartz on the black finish? Have been thinking about it alot recently

I like the CQuartz and think it makes the black finish pop. While it doesn't necessarily prevent small streaks from recurring washes to the extent that I'd like, the coating definitely makes keeping the car clean a lot easier.

I am Virginia Legal. That means its staggered - 50% front and 35% on the rear passenger and rear window. Its not ideal at all, but I already had 4 previous tint tickets that classified under modified equipment for insurance and really screwed me over, so had to go legal this time

Yeah im going to do the full honeycomb grille at some point as well. As of now, running no front plate was an easy fix till i decide to replace it. As for tickets, got pulled over once, had my license plate on my dash, state trooper mentioned that could shoot off in a crash and cut the passengers head off. No ticket from that just a warning. Ever since then, I have put the extra plate under my drivers seat and have had 0 issues. Only time I put it in my dash is when I am parking in DC for work, because they can ticket you there for not having a license plate even while the car is parked.

Ok, great! Your car looks awesome BTW.. Glad the blizzaks worked for the winter. Gonna keep my stock 18"s and do the same for this next winter. Gonna have tint done next week or the week after depending on my schedule. Wanted to go 3M Crystilline prob 50/35 like you did. Any recs on local installers?

One more thing, what offset are your VMR's? Mine 804's will be 19X8.5 with a 35 offset. Gonna run a 235/35 SS tire with the H&R springs. VMR rep said I should have no rubbing issues.

LA Tint in manassas. Go with the ceramic tint. Took my last 3 cars there, never had one issue and it always turns out perfect

I too have an A3 black optic s line iwth sport suspension. You car looks AMAZING!!! You should be thrilled. Never let anyone who has nothing nice to say bother you. That car is smoking hot and puts most S3's to shame. BEAUTIFUL
ENJOY. I know I enjoy mine
