Glad I convinced you! I couldn't post any of the pictures with our cars together because your rims are too damn fresh and make mine look terrible

Nice build and it looks like you're really enjoying the car: auto cross, meets, shows, track, and my favorite Drifting in the Snow! Good times, thanks for posting.

Very nice work so far, Patty

Don't discount your oem wheels... with a drop and some wide they fit the car very well. Better than many aftermarket wheels.

I was astonished on how well it did with snow tires, there’s too much fun to be had with the Quattro in the snow.

Special thanks to you for all of my questions you’ve answered. I actually really enjoy the rims and I’m looking at bigger brakes as my next mod, new rims are far in the future.

They are indeed the stock 19s, as Mops said the drop and spacers make them fit the car very well.

Thanks! As long as we stay away from launching, the clutch has been doing fine. It sometimes slips if you don’t get the shifts right when driving aggressively but nothing too bad

Always here to help! A 380mm BBK would be the taa-taas.

Finally put the Short Shifter and transmission mount on. I don't think anything will be as easy as the transmission mount was to put on.

The short shifter changes everything as it is a big feel of the car to me. Itwas quite the headache as it seemed that I aligned it wrong and didn't have reverse when everything was back on. Anyone else have this problem?I also had a screw break on me in the process. Major kudos to ECS for helping out in a very timely manner to remedy this situation.

Also purchased diff mounts from ECS because that video was too good... well done guys.

Very nice pics and mods! You mentioned you were tracking in VIR guess we are not that far. I am interested in some of those mods (exhaust, Alu Kreuz, grille) Any recommended shops? Did you order all stuff online and install it with your friend? my car is stock and I am quite new to mods world. Thx!

Thanks! I’m located near DC, it was quite the drive to VIR but well worth it.
Grille you can do in your garage without a lift. I ordered everything either online or from AZ and put them on myself. You’ll definitely need a lift for Exhaust/Alu Kreuz. The only shop work I had done was at S2 Dynamics for my springs. Tell them I sent you.

The lift is amazing, he’s actually putting a 5.0 in a miata currently, very excited to see the end result.

Highly jealous of that Estoril blue, I have the deep sea blue pearl. Close but the Estoril certainly pops more at night without the sun needing to be out to pull my metallic out of my DSB. I really like the look of the titanium rotor oems on the darker blue, compared to say sepang more than i thought.

I've been debating wether to pony up and buy some OEM RS5 used rotors. Or satin silver Avant Garde 580's brand new.

Those rotors in 19"s even look good with springs!

PS: Your estoril blue AT least also gives me a idea to go ahead and get my window trim wrapped in black for sure! Along with the RS5 grill in gloss black ill be adding along with it once the weather breaks. :)

I don't get a chance to see many deep blue colors on here with rim options etc. Thanks! Now i can't decide to go with the AG 580 in satin silver or the titanium RS5 rotors in 20". I have been debating now for 3 weeks

But that estoril blue is a color of BEAUTY! I was actually looking at a b8.5 S4 to add to the stable with the S4 that was estoril blue! They would look good next to each other.

Don't need a lift to do either of those. I did AK, sways and exhaust with just a jack and stands as I am sure many B8 guys have.
