Some people may remember me, the newer members won't. But I'm officially back in a Audi daily.

Just picked up our 2015 Allroad with Sport Package (Absolutely love sport) yesterday.





Plans aren't too outrageous this time around. No built motor or bigger turbo... Most likely going for aesthetics only. Thinking about air ride kit, with some wheels. Trying to keep the civility this time around, and not making it into something it wasn't meant to be. Look forward to reading more threads in this part of the forum and meeting some new peeps.

Sport seats, black headliner is well worth it... THe steering wheel is less then inspiring though. Thought the three spoke would be thick like my B6 replacement or the R. But it's skinny.. :( Might have to get a different one in the future.

The standard steering wheel is a larger diameter and has a thinner rim, 10/10 sport package is the way to go.

I instantly remember how my B6 turned to the way it was... It really is Audizines fault.

But honestly, I don't forsee me doing much in the motor department. My wife will also be driving this as well, and the last thing I need her to do is get on my case about messing with this car too much when I have the other two...

I'll stick with Wheels and suspension for now, and some other small cosmetic stuff along with some vag com mods.

EDIT: Got curious about APR Stg 2 E85 tune numbers... since i had e85 big turbo STi... I hate you guys.

Stage 2 E85 tune numbers are great. 400lb/ft of torque feels pretty damn good. But dont mess with it. Have yourself a nice reliable car you can keep for a while

I have been dailying a 2011 STi Hatchback for a few years... So the nice way to put it is its civilized, the mean way to say it is, it's slow and boring... But it's a welcome change since I have the other two cars to play with.

To me... A SQ5 or really any performance SUV seems dumb. Awesome, you get to be the "FASTEST" Q5 and beat other mediocre ish quick cars... if it matches a b8 s4 in a straight line, it wont match it in the corners... It's not big enough to be a full SUV and haul your family, it doesn't get good gas mileage. So what is it good at? Being "kind of" fast, kind of spacious, kind of useful... After owning some different cars, I firmly believe things should excel at least in one department, otherwise, meh. Just my .02 on those cars.

Yea, that became my issue... My B6 was my weekend car... Yet its a mediocre entry level sedan that is now 11 years old and slow as balls. But boy do i still love that thing for some odd reason.

Perfectly stated and I fully agree. It's like an overgrown hatchback. Can't really go off-road, can't haul much and can't corner fast.

Audi Q5 and BMW X5, are both just disguised minivans without the utility.

You definitely need a tune on the allroad though. It turns it into a much more engaging drive than stock.

Yea. Sport was on my priority list of things to buy. I read the megathread before I purchased the allroad, and I told myself, I'm not dealing with a headliner swap ever again. Did that for a friends B6...

I agree on the SQ5, I think I would prefer the Macan, but it's prices are outta whack when you add options like Seat belts.

I tend to do that! haha do you tho man... The AR is great car even bone stock. It rides so comfortably and is a wonderful daily. I loved mine well before I tuned it. Excellent choice!

Got the front windows tinted with 30% and windshield 50%





Thule Aeroblades ordered - Took advantage of a local shop that had 35% discount. Ordered from amazon prime initially, only to find it it was only a SINGLE blade... Fml.
