    B6 axle on a B7??? HELP

I have a B7 Audi A4 3.2 automatic. My inner CV boot tore pretty badly. A CV boot kit online is about $27, but my local junkyard has an full axle off a B6 a4 in good shape for $25. I would like to just replace the entire axle instead of messing with just the boot. Will the B6 axle fit on my B7?

You need to have the same transmission and you should confirm that both driveshafts are the same length. Manual and Tip have differently sized casings.
Both CV ends are fastened the same in B6 and B7 but it is the length that is the most critical...

Thank you very much. You confirmed what I just read on another forum. Looks like I'm gonna go with the CV boot replacement kit.
