Diamond Stitch Interior

I'm considering this option for my next car. Can anyone that has a car with the diamond stitch interior give me feedback on "wearability"? I heard that it wears out faster than Nappa leather, but still a little better than Alcantara. Thanks for your advice.

I have it on my rs7. The leather is superb. Even had an incident where my wife wore her new jeans and the dye bled over to the seat (I have lunar silver aka almost white).

It cleaned off without a problem.

After 34k miles of driving my car, the drivers seat looks as new as original.

So, as long as you keep the seats clean, it will last.

As far as the stitching, it's holding up well. Haven't had any issues with them coming loose or ripping.

I have Lunar Silver Honey Comb Sport seats with Blue stitching (Audi Exclsive Interior), No issue so far. Although I had the interior Leather Alcantara coated with Optiguard Interior.

lunar silver with a nano-coating. they get a dark tinting with elbows and jeans but all i do is wipe a wet microfiber and its back to new...i used it over the entire interior; helps with dust on the dash too

Going on 25k miles and the seats look the day they did when I got the car. Even the driver's side bolster leather is in fantastic shape.

didn't want lunar, but agreed on it being a big part of the sale for me. So much so, that I turned down a ton or better equipped cars that all had the comfort seats. It is one of the single biggest generators of compliments I get when people look inside the car. Exudes sport and luxury.

42K on mine - seats look like new.

That said, the comfort seats are indeed more comfortable, IMO, but I still wouldn't trade the looks of the diamond-stitched seats.

Literally every person who looks in/sits in the car is wowed by those seats!

I got my S6 in July. . .Can't tell you about the wear, because they still look new. . .But, they're awfully cool looking. Probably the best part of the interior!

38K on Lunar Silver, no unusual wear for me either.
