I lost my roof rack key and I talked to the local dealer and they want $100 for a new set of keys and locks. What are the other options I can go do? The key was so generic that it boggled my mind when they wanted to replace the entire thing...

Are those all different keys? I have one just sitting on my dresser from a Q5 I traded over 2 years ago. Come to think of it, I have the rack too.

Its a basic silver key. I think the rack is Thule, the replacement if it is is $10
