2015 Audi Q5 2.0. How do modify to be able to watch movies while driving

I'm trying to figure out if there is any way with my 2014 Audi Q5 , I would be able to watch movies while I'm driving and if so...how to do it and if I need to buy anything thanks ! 😀

It was easy...a matter of setting the speed allowed for viewing.
I tested it after I did it, but haven't used it since.

You could try Carista for a bunch of other useful ideas and it's not as expensive as the Rosstech cable. I don't think Carista does the video in motion though. Heres a thread on Carista in the B8S4 section. Local support on here too for it.

I agree the RossTech is much more powerful. I have one and it has come in very handy for myself and others. The OP doesn't sound like it's for him though, that's why I suggested Carista for some cheap easy fun.

OP if you look in your region on here there might be someone close to you that will help you out with a cable.

How do you know if your 2g or 3G, what does that mean? And it doesn't say anything about cords or anything like that does it ?

You are 3g with a 15. You need to buy the Ross tech cable and download the free software and connect it to your ride to make changes.

Not to high Jack but once this is done what videos can you play? Example youtube, saved movie on my phone, Or would it have to go through the sd slot?

You can play DVD movies.

You can play both DVD movies and movies loaded on an SD card (IF the movie format on the SD card is correct and frame size is 720x544 or less if I recall)

In new A4 not exist Blu ray player (A4, A5, Q5 the same platform and equipment). New A4 support 2 x SDXC memory card - up to 2TB

Not only RossTech. It can be done with ODIS and VAS5054 or old version VAS PC or VAG CAN PRO or AVDI

When I was researching buying the Q5 I ran across this site. It's a way to activate the video function without buying the Ross-Tech gear.
