Seriously, just buy the full version. The cracked versions are full of bugs and the pirate environment has changed in just the past few years to the point that you are inviting a lot of problems by using some pirated software because you just don't know who has had their paws in the software. I'm all for free software but after owning a GM product, we really need to be thankful for RossTech because some manufactures don't have anything like this. The only thing better would be a DSM Link type software.

I know someone who has it ;) I don't believe it's worth what they ask. I bought maestro for 800$ and think that's worth it given it actually does something. Vagcom not so much. 409 is the newest you can have cracked. It doesn't have any bugs. Although if you .torrent it may. Just use a virtual machine.

This, still works fine. Paid on my laptop, free on tablet. Wish I had just bought a real cable though.

How can you have the full version? The software key is built into the cable for using any of the new software that is VCDS Lite. If 409 is the latest "full" version you can have cracked, then just by a generic hand-held OBD2 reader from Autozone. Pretty much the same features. And VCDS Lite is on version what? 1.2? Lol. The full software is at version 15.7.

because vcds lite is k-line only. its built for the aftermarket cables that only work on the older cars.
    contact via email please.

You can log albeit slowly with vagcom and you can utilize it for block 098. Neither of which any 'generic obd2' I've seen can do. The point of vagcom is well beyond clearing codes and checking emissions status. When I think about it like that it does have some value :p still not anymore than 50$.

Since when can generic obd2 scanners access ABS modules, or your alarm system? A ten dollar ebay cable, and free vcds kills it.

I'm 98% sure I can do both of those. But maybe not. If discovering which alarms went off like trunk or drivers door I can do that. And I can also find what wheel speed sensors have problems.

You can't do a throttle body adaption with the free one right?

Buy a real cable, has been probably the best purchase I've made for my car.

In addition, if you ever sell your car you will be able to easily sell the cable for 80-90% of what you bought it for, aka these things don't really depreciate.

Some actually can do things like ABS codes- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=sr_1_2&sr=8-2

VCDS is still better, but I keep one of the above scanners in the car with me.

If all I want to see are DTC and emission data for making sure I'm not running lean, vacuum and fuel are good. Could I just get this: http://r.ebay.com/qR2Dg4 and download the free lite version? Sorry only had my A4 B5 for 2 weeks now.
