Audi RS6 Jon Olsson - Stolen and Burned

The world famous RS6 from Jon Olsson is stolen last night, and ended up in flames in Holland. The car was bought by a dutch dealer and where using it last night in the making of some sort of movie, while guys in a van appeared with guns and took the car running without any keys. The key was still in the pocket of the owner and they managed to get away. Last night the cars bin found burned down to the ground not even a few miles away.





This thing was good for over 1000HP and more then 300kmph. The cost was over a half million euro's.

Damn shame. Most exclusive Audi's are stolen often in Holland. Even tho a high sophisiticated alarm and / or GPS wont stop people stealing. Most of these car thefts ends up in flames, they are widely used for robbery's and they easily outperform dutch police.

Yeah well having a RS4 or RS6 is proned to be victim of theft here in Holland. They get stolen regular, and they usually end up being abused and set on fire.

I remember once being in Belgium in Brussels with my RS4 to be pulled over by belgium police. They where really cautious and carry automatic firearms taking no risc. I.e i had family of a friend with me who where supposed to go to Airport brussels. They teared the luggage apart knowing RS4's in brussels are uncommon with dutch licence plates, and regular used for robbery's.

I've asked them the same question. They told me that an RS4 with dutch licence plates in brussels was uncommon, and knowing those cars where often used for robbery's where criminals would just open fire to belgium / france police, they would take no risc when they stopped me.

There are plenty of stories to find on the net where criminals in a stolen RS would start shooting from the back of the car to police chasers... it's extremely dangerous. I have a car with blinded windows from the back, so for someone standing next to it you cant tell who's in the back or not.

In some cities, police mostly follows me for a minute or so, and then leave. They are usually checking licence plate(s) and if the vehicle is stolen or not, and when they pass it's simply looking at the driver.

The rumor about this RS6 is that eitherway the criminals coudnt get far without a key of the car (They stole it while engine was running / key in pocket owner) or it's simply stolen / set to fire for insurance reasons (scam). I can hardly believe the second part. There are plenty of buyers all over the world wanting that RS6 from complete carbon and 18 carat gold turbo's lol.

Edit: ofcourse, they get stolen because they are large (avant, up to 5 people including luggage) and because they are fast, esp criminals use them for robbery's to get away quick. Knowing dutch / belgium police usually drives a VW, it's just no match against an RS.
