Fully Loaded S3 Premium Plus vs Prestige: What's the Difference?

    Hi guys!

I'm thinking of placing an order for an S3 and would like to understand what's the difference between the fully loaded Premium Plus and Prestige. The Prestige with SS seats and PP is around $2.000 more expensive, but it's not clear what extra options it has compared with similarly optioned Premium Plus.

The stop and go cruise control and some active lane assists.

If you're leasing, the terms are usually better on Premium Plus than Prestige.

In that case it's basically everything that I don't care about :)

Yup, I originally started looking at a loaded Prestige when I was first making a decision and then realized a P+ with all options that I wanted (sport pkg, LED lighting pkg, convenience pkg, MMI touch nav, B&O audio pkg) was cheaper and it didn't have that hideous front camera for the stop & go CC. I think the tech is cool but the placement of that camera right in the center of the grill ruins it for me.

P+ with B&O, black optics sport, LED, red brakes, tech pack invoiced at just over 50k while the same options + sport seats in prestige invoiced just over 55k at the dealer I was at. AudiUSA puts the prestige packaged at 51k though so not that big of a difference.

I will most probably buy it. Don't laugh guys, but the only reason I am delaying is the possibility of the RS3 showing up here, on the other hand I will also be very tempted for the B9 RS5. I know the S3 can be as fast as the RS3 or 5 with just a simple tune, but it's the rareness of the others that compels me the most.

I too was waiting for the RS3 but got impatient. Take delivery of my S3 later this month. As for a B9 RS5, nothing announced about that from what I've seen. At minimum I'd expect that's 2-3 years away from hitting American shores. Maybe you're a suuuuuper patient person though.
