    Vag Com Radio No Response

I plugged in my vag com (not genuine but also not ebay) and it was able to access all the modules except radio and navigation. I'm trying to code the aux in, but every time I tried to connect to either of those modules I received a "No response from controller" error. My car has an OEM RNSE in it and since the cable connects to all the other modules I am thinking it might have to do with wiring in my car. Also purely by luck, I happened to pull up error codes in the steering wheel module and it said Radio- communication intermittent. Any thoughts or suggestions would be very appreciated.

See if you can find someone local that has a real VAGCOM to scan your system, that way you can be sure there's a real issue.

Its the cable, I went through the exact same issue since everyone who offered a Vag-Com service to recode my RNS-e for the aux could never access the channel. Found one with a legit one and it worked first time.

Did you retrofit the RNSE? Or did it come factory installed in your car?
I ask because I have a legit vagcom and it won't read my symphony II+ that I retrofitted in. I googled it, and it appears to be a problem with the harness that is used to upgrade from symphony II to symphony II+ or RNSE.

Yea this might be a good discussion on that issue.

I'm not the original owner but I believe the RNSE is factory installed. It does not have a retrofit harness connected in the back. I will try to find someone with a genuine cable.

If your car was equipped with a Symphony 2+ it had a quad lock (same as rns-e) if the kline wasnt moved on that harness you wont communicate even with a real vag com
Wagons are made to haul things, mine is made to haul ass
